Hi Ivan. Great post Sean. No question but judgment is a problem in today's world. It fills us with fears of failure, making mistakes, trying, and....ultimately....succeeding. Here's a little story about "who you're placing judgment on" for your readers to think about. Ready? O.K., here we go. Imagine that your own two hands have lives of their own. Each is like a puppet at the end of your arms, and one is calling the other names. Your right hand has judged your left one useless.... because lefty's no good at writing. "YOU'RE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME MY FRIEND" shouts your right hand to his partner three feet over. "And someone should cut you off because of it!" he adds....wondering how to carry out the threat. Your left hand is shivering and shaking in his boots by now of course, and wondering where he can hide. But then a big booming voice is heard from somewhere nearby. It's YOUR voice, because you've been watching all this from above. "HOLD IT" you holler from your vantage on high. "ARE YOU NUTS!" you say, addressing your own right hand. "You and that left hand are different parts of One whole body". "There's no dividing line between the two of you." "You ARE each other". "All you're doing is calling YOURSELF names". At that both hands are stunned into silence, as they see the simple Truth. And what exactly does that have to do with judging each other you ask? This. In reality, you and I and everyone else is a different part of One whole. We too ARE each other. Go ahead and judge your fellow man or woman if you want to then. But don't forget it's really YOU you're judging and act towards them accordingly. Ciao Ivan and Sean. John Duffield

I was blog hopping...and found your site...I think I will be commited regular reader.

This is a particularly good post for me...I am one of those "many sides to every story" kind of person...however I am surrounded by the opposite. I was raised by a "my way is the only way" kind of person...and am married to a man who has tunnle vision.

My friends always laugh at me for my "positive outlook". They comment how I am always putting a positive spin on a situation...I don't really see it like that...I do see it like you said, there is always a different way to see any situation.

That is your ego protecting the way you pronounce, don't worry about it (you may be joking... *laughs*)

Repeat after me: i • co • sa • hed • ron [the i pronounced like the 'i' in 'five', the rest pronouce it in usual English]

I repeat: do not worry about it, it took me a while to figure out the pronunciation of the Swedish letters ö, å, ä.
Wikipedia was my guide, among others. Pronunciation of Danish/Norwegian letters:  ö = ø , æ = ä .

I suggest breaking the word into syllables if the word is very long. And pronunce each syllable accordingly, to what you can pronounce.

Examples: English   Danish          Swedish
                stamp             =     frimærke            =       frimärke
               hearing            =     hørelse               =       hörsel
               also                 =     også                   =        också

Hope it was helpful!

Tack så mycket för god artikeln (Thanks very much for the good article, I know a little swedish only, it may be wrong).
